Slow Cooked Korean Short Rib

- Beef
- 4 lb beef short rib (cubed)
- Sauce
- 1 onion (diced)
- 8 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tsp garlic
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 bosc pear (or 1 asian pear)
- 2 tsp black vinegar
- 1/4 cup ponzu sauce (optional)
- 1 bunch green onion (chopped)
Instructions
- Blanch the beef
- Puree the sauce in a blender
- Add beef and sauce to a stockpot with water and braise for 3 hours
- Top with green onions and serve over rice
